There is no such thing

It's not like I'm killing a part of me to make it work.
It's not like I get tired of giving the best of me.
It's not like the efforts are going down the drain.

Because there is no such thing. There's no effort. There's no "I shouldn't say" or "I shouldn't do".

It is what it is.
And I'm glad.

As much as sometimes I get myself trapped in this little box that I call "standards", I always get to see the other side.
